Randy Freesmeyer, 55, of Kountze, died Sunday, October 28, 2012, at Harbor Hospice, Beaumont.  He was born on March 30, 1957, in Jacksonville, Illinois, to Joyce Gore Freesmeyer and Cecil LeRoy Freesmeyer.  Randy was a carpenter by trade.

Survivors include his son, David Allen Freesmeyer of Kountze; mother, Joyce Esclovon of Kountze; sister, Carmen Odom of Kountze; three nieces; one nephew; three great-nieces; and numerous other family and friends.

A gathering of Mr. Freesmeyer’s family and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m., with his funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, November 1, 2012, at Broussard’s, 530 West Monroe, Kountze.  Interment will follow at Village Mills Cemetery, Village Mills.
