Syble A. Rudisaile, 89, of Silsbee, died Sunday, October 21, 2012, in Beaumont. Syble was born on June 19, 1923, in Hicksbow, Texas, to Hattie Caraway and Wesley Jackson Sr. She was raised in Kirbytown in Silsbee, Texas, where she graduated from Silsbee High School, and in 1941 married Marvin Moore, who was serving in the United States Army. Syble worked at The Silsbee Bee and Frank’s Jewelry. Their daughter, Marvel Ann was four years old when her dad returned home from the army. When Syble’s husband died, Marvel Ann was eight years old and her mom became her best friend and shopping buddy; they were almost inseparable.

Syble and Frank Rudisaile married in 1977. They traveled overseas to many different countries visiting and assisting their church missionaries. For twenty-nine years she was Foreign Missions Director; also she was a youth leader and a very proud door greeter at her church until she could no longer go. Syble worked hard for the Veterans of Foreign Wars; she could always be seen selling “poppies” for their money raisers. She and her daughter Marvel Ann donated the land where Frank K. Rudisaile Pavilion is located in Silsbee.

She leaves to grieve her home going, daughters, Marvel Ann Wilson and her husband, Eddie and Dagma Rudisaile Murphy and her husband, Allan; grandsons, Reverend Royce Wilson and his wife, Deanne and Dr. Chris Russell and his wife, Chrissan; great-grandchildren, Mackenzie, Zachary and Sydnee Wilson and Ethan and Elise Russell; and brother, Henry Lee Jackson.

Syble is preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Marvin Moore and Frank Rudisaile; brothers, Wesley Jackson Jr.; sister, Brownie Hall; daughter, Rolanda Rudisaile Russell; sisters-in-law, Mildred Jackson and Vernell Jackson.

To Jim Bob and Brittany Coots, Mariann Pate, nurses and staff at Silsbee Oaks, the family would like to say “Thank you and God bless you” for all you did for their mother, and a special thanks to Mrs. Anna Tanton.

A gathering of Mrs. Rudisaile’s family and friends will be from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., Monday, October 22, 2012, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee and again at 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Abundant Life United Pentecostal Church, 191 E. Highway 327, Silsbee. Her funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 23, 2012, also at the church, with interment to follow at R.S. Farmer in Silsbee.
