Margaret Kinsey Mitchell, 91, of Beaumont, died Friday, October 12, 2012. She was born on June 11, 1921, to Talley Kinsey and Vincent T. Kinsey, in San Antonio, Texas. Margaret came to live in Beaumont in 1945, as a war bride and spent the remainder of her life here.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey N. Mitchell, Jr.; two sisters; one brother; daughter, Marilee Mitchell Johnson; and grandson, Darrell M. Johnson.

Survivors include her three children, Harvey Mitchell II and his wife, Jan; Sam Parker; Karla Richardson and her husband, Sonny; and Audie Johnson, husband of her deceased daughter, Marilee; and two grandchildren, Daniel Johnson and Michelle Johnson Randall.

A gathering of Mrs. Mitchell’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Monday, October 15, 2012, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. Her graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 16, 2012, at Magnolia Cemetery, 2291 Pine Street, Beaumont.
