Wesley Ensign, 85, of Evadale, died Wednesday, October 10, 2012, in Beaumont. He was born on June 22, 1927, to Bessie Wallace and Walter Ensign. He was a United States Navy veteran, having served in World War II and was a retired Merchant Marine.

Survivors include his children, Nickie Tolbert and her husband, Mike of Vidor; Debbie Willis and her husband, Ricky; Cathy Harris Langston and her husband, Lynn; and Mark Bruce and his wife, Angie, all of Evadale; Seventeen grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and sister, Wilda Scott of Port Arthur.  He is preceded in death by his wife, Molly Ensign; son, Bubba Bruce; and daughter-in-law, Juena Bruce.

A gathering of Mr. Ensign’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., October 12, 2012, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. His funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 13, 2012, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Antioch Cemetery, Buna.
