Chester "C.L." Lee Patterson

Chester Lee Patterson, 85, of C.L. was a United States Navy veteran, having served in World War II and retired from Southern Pacific Railroad as an electrician. He was a longtime member of First Baptist Church-Village Mills. Survivors include his wife, Grace Patterson; daughter-in-law, Shawnette Patterson of Nederland; grandchildren, Kristen Patterson and Kaytlin Patterson, both of Nederland; son, Jerry Lee Patterson of Vidor; daughters, Billie Jean Henry and her husband, Gene, of Oakdale, Louisiana; and Jody Williams and her husband, Terry, of Vidor; stepson, Lawrence Simmons of Kountze; three step-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; brothers, Franklin Patterson and his wife, Wanda, of Kingwood; and Dean Patterson and his wife, Shirley, of Centerville; sisters, Edra Burkett of Giddings and Mattie Beeson and her husband, Jack, of Leggett; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Jack, James, and H.L. Patterson; sisters, Mildred Baker, Audra Cain, Myrtle Howard; and son, James Allen Patterson. A gathering Mr. Patterson’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, October 5, 2012, at Broussard’s, 530 West Monroe, Kountze. His funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 6, 2012, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church-Village Mills,
