Ramon “Ray” Silva, Jr., 65, of Beaumont, died Friday, September 28, 2012, at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth, Beaumont.

He was born on February 7, 1947, in San Antonio, to Enedina Reyes Silva and Ramon Silva, and had been a lifelong resident of the area. He was employed with The Anchor Church, Beaumont.

Survivors include his wife, Alma Silva; son, Daniel Silva; daughter, Dania Silva; and numerous cousins.

Ramon is preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Joe Silva

A gathering of Mr. Silva’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Saturday, September 29, 2012, at The Anchor Church, 6655 Highway 105, Beaumont. His funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Sunday, September 30, 2012, at The Anchor Church, Beaumont. A graveside service will be held 10:00 a.m., Monday, October 1, 2012, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 4955 Pine Street, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
