Sun Ye Yu, 92, of Beaumont, died Friday, September 28, 2012, at Harbor Hospice, Beaumont. She was born on February 4, 1920, in Jangheung, South Korea, and had been a resident of Beaumont since 1998.

Mrs. Yu is survived by her daughters, Sujin Yu and her husband, Erwin Lo, of Beaumont; Chun Brace of New Lenox, Illinois; Chun Kim of Chicago, Illinois; and Bok Ja Yu of South Korea; son, Do Nam Yu of South Korea; grandchildren, Jinna, Samantha, and Nicholas; and many other grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

A gathering of Mrs. Yu’s family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Saturday, September 29, 2012, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, September 30, 2012, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Memory Gardens of Jefferson County, Nederland.
