Rosemary Luke, 84, of Beaumont, passed away on Wednesday, September 26, 2012, at Park Place Care Center, Georgetown, Texas.

She was born on September 29, 1927, in Beaumont, to Mary Culotta Morrell and Nunzie P. Morrell, and had been a lifelong resident of the area. Rosemary was retired working in sales from Szafir Office Supplies.

Survivors include her son A.E. “Sonny” Wegner and his wife, Rhonda, of Georgetown; her sister, Jo Theresa Sowell; brother, Peter Anthony Morrell and wife, Jean; grandchildren, Cary Wegner and his wife, Amy; Clete Wegner and his wife, Lisa; and Carey Stephenson; great-grandchildren, Sydney Wegner, Hayden Wegner, Leah Stephenson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Rosemary is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Oscar Joseph Luke, Jr.; and son, Archie Luke.

A gathering of Mrs. Luke’s family and friends will begin at 2:00 p.m., with a Rosary recited and memorial service to follow at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, September 29, 2012, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.

Her committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
