Lewis Wilbur Daniels, 81, of Mauriceville, died Sunday, September 23, 2012. He was born on October 29, 1930, in Vidor, and had been a lifelong resident of the area. He was retired from the United States Air Force.

Lewis is survived by his daughter, Susan Kennedy and her husband, Kerry, of Knapp, Wisconsin; brothers, Jim Daniels and his wife, Alice, of Beaumont; Sonny Daniels and Martin Daniels and his wife, Betty, all of Missouri.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Jean Daniels; parents; and sisters, Betty Modeline and Roxy Jackson.

A memorial service for Mr. Daniels will be held at a later date. His committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
