Becky Bordages, 57, of Vidor, died Monday, September 17, 2012, at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital-Beaumont. She was born on September 16, 1955, to Norma McClellan Dowden and Marvin Walter Dowden, Sr. in Kirbyville.

A 1973 Buna High School graduate, Becky received her Bachelor’s degree from Lamar University in 1980 and taught in the West Hardin and Kirbyville Independent School Districts.

Survivors include her husband, Cullen P. Bordages of Vidor; sons, Allan Bordages, Lucas Bordages, and Cameron Bordages; and daughter, Katelynn Bordages.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Norma and Marvin Dowden; brother, Buddy Dowden; and sister, Jeanine Stanley.

Her memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 22, 2012, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 1600 North Main Street, Vidor.
