Mildred Louviere, 77, of Sour Lake, died Thursday, September 13, 2012, at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth in Beaumont. Born April 23, 1935, in Saratoga, she is the daughter of Ocie Moore Collins and Vernon Collins.  Mildred was a hairdresser with M and M Beauty Shop in Sour Lake.

She is survived by her husband of fifty-seven years, Morris Louviere of Sour Lake; children, Curtis Louviere and his wife, Teresa, and Kevon Louviere all of Sour Lake; brothers, Bubba Collins and Edwin Collins, both of Silsbee; grandchildren, Ryan, Justin, Chris, Sharayah, Bre-anna, Jessica, Tessa, Katelynn, Amanda, Dena Kay, Sally, Jr, and Sam; and great-grandchildren, Baylee, Daisy, Landon, Matthew, Brooklynn, Arianna, Makynsee, Abby, Hailey, Zack, and Bobby.  Mildred was preceded in death by her parents; son, Rex Louviere; brother, James Collins; and sister, Mary Nell Williford.

A Christian Vigil for Mrs. Louviere will be 5:00 p.m., with a gathering of family and friends to follow until 7:00 p.m., on Sunday evening, September 16, 2012, at Broussard’s, 530 West Monroe, Kountze.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 a.m., Monday, September 17, 2012, at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, 225 W. Barkley, Sour Lake, followed by burial at Rosedale Cemetery, Sour Lake.
