Sharon Ann Doiron, 64, of Nederland, died Wednesday, August 29, 2012, at her home in Nederland. She was born October 13, 1947, to Janéy Hidalgo and Charles Newton Miller in Beaumont, and had been a lifelong resident of the area. Sharon was employed as a drug counselor for many years. She was also a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, St. Charles Altar Society, and Mid-County Newcomers Group. Sharon loved spending spare time with friends playing Bunco.

She is survived by her husband, Allan Doiron of Nederland; daughter, Samantha Lynn Rodriguez and her husband, Lenny, of Houston; son, Shawn Allan Doiron and his wife, Stephanie, of Killeen; brother, H. Lynn and his wife, Kathy, of Nederland; and grandchildren, Zarron Doiron, Zena Doiron, Zoe Doiron, and Piper Rose Rodriguez.

A Christian Vigil for Mrs. Doiron will begin at 6:00 p.m., with a gathering of her family and friends to follow until 8:00 p.m. Friday, August 31, 2012, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 1, 2012, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 211 Hardy Avenue, Nederland, with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
