Andrew (Andy) Judice, 84, of Port Arthur, died Tuesday, August 28, 2012. He was born on September 28, 1927, to Marie Anaise Dugas and Dumas Judice, in Loreauville, Louisiana, and had been a longtime resident of the area. Andy was a veteran of the United States Army having served in the Korean War. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus, Council #3195, and longtime member of St. Therese, the Little Flower of Jesus Catholic Church, Port Arthur. Andy enjoyed cooking, hunting, fishing, and gardening. He was a happy, easy going person who loved everyone and only saw the good in others. Survivors include his wife of sixty-four years, Joyce Judice of Port Arthur; children, Deborah A. Dorman and her husband, Earl, of Sulphur, Louisiana; Julie M. Dickerson and her husband, Doyle, of Jasper; Michael A. Judice and his wife, Susan, of Lumberton; Glenn E. Judice and his wife, Lisa, of Nederland; and Kevin L. Judice and his wife, Vicki, of Houston; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and sisters, Eloise Verret of Broussard, Louisiana and Evelyn Lanson of Houston. He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; five sisters; and granddaughter, Kelly Judice. A gathering of Mr. Judice’s family and friends will begin at 4:30 p.m., with a Rosary recited at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, August 30, 2012, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 31, 2012, at St. Therese, the Little Flower of Jesus Catholic Church, 6412 Garnet Avenue, Port Arthur, with interment to follow at Memory Gardens of Jefferson County, Nederland.
