Rosemary Elizabeth Busch Ruysenaars, 97, of Beaumont, Texas, passed away quietly on August 27, 2012.  A native of Algoma, Wisconsin, she was born on June 1, 1915, to the late Walter and Libbie Busch. Rosemary received her Bachelor’s degree from Mount Mary College in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and moved to Texas after her marriage to the late Hank Ruysenaars on October 12, 1939.

She was an active member of St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church where she was very active in the Just Older Youth (JOY) group as well as prayer groups.  Rosemary retired as a parochial and public school teacher many years ago.

She was preceded in death by her infant son, Walter James; and husband, Hank Ruysenaars.  Rosemary was the loving mother of sons, Pete Ruysenaars and his wife, Dolores, and Mark Ruysenaars of Beaumont; and daughter, Libbie Stinson and her husband, James of Nederland. She was the devoted grandmother of David and Eric Ruysenaars of Beaumont, Susan Ruysenaars of Dallas, Greg Ruysenaars of Katy, Michelle Hinds of Crawford, Kristina Straface of Keller, Joshua Stinson of Katy, Kara Stinson of Austin, and Korinne Stinson of Nederland. Rosemary cherished her seven great-grandchildren, Sean and Christopher Hinds; Josie, Samie and Torie Straface, and Garrett and Morgan Ruysenaars.

The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to the nurses and aides at the Jefferson Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for the loving care they gave to Rosemary.

A Rosary for Mrs. Ruysenaars will be recited at 5:30 p.m., with a gathering of family and friends to follow, Friday, August 31, 2012, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:30 a.m., Saturday, September 1, 2012, in the Chapel of St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church, 6825 Gladys Avenue, Beaumont, with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
