Rosalie Kintner, 83, of Fannett, passed away Saturday, August 25, 2012. She was born on August 28, 1928, in Centerville, Tennessee to Helen Marie Ward and Dr. Alfred Ward. Rosalie was a loving wife and mother, leading her large family in a Godly manner. She devoted her life to caring for children and was the owner of Kintner’s Happy-Time Nursery. She also operated the daycare program at Amelia Baptist Church where she and her family were members before moving to Fannett. Rosalie continued her service to Children’s Ministry at Calvary Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Paul V. Kintner, Sr.; sons, Paul V. Kintner, Jr. of Austin, and Carl Jay Kintner of Fannett; daughters, Rose Marie Johnson of Lorena, and Lynnda Lee Castolenia of Lumberton. Rosalie was blessed with nine grandchildren, Aaron M. Johnson and his wife, Rachael; Haylie Marie Wardlaw and her husband, Chris; Rita Michelle Castolenia; Parker Garrett Bittle; Spencer Ross Bittle; Hunter Reid Bittle; Hannah Brooke Castolenia; Katelyn Ashley Kintner; and Allison Nicole Kintner; and five great-grandchildren, Holly Grace Bittle, Hunter Joseph Bittle, Hayden Brooke Bittle, Emma Rose Bittle, and Christopher Lee Johnson. She is preceded in death by her parents; and brother, J.W. Ward. A gathering of Mrs. Kintner’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Monday, August 27, 2012, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 28, 2012, at First Baptist Church of Fannett, 17019 Highway 124, Fannett, with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions in Rosalie’s memory be made to Children’s Ministry of First Baptist Church of Fannett, 17019 Highway 124, Beaumont, Texas 77705.
