Floyd Perew, 79, of Silsbee, died Thursday, August 23, 2012, at his residence.  He was born on July 24, 1933, to Sudie Viola Ferris and David Perew.

Survivors include his daughter, Deboraha Poole; son, Charles Perew; stepdaughters, Margaret Sheffield and Pauline Odom.  He is preceded in death by his parents; and wife, Willie Ozan Perew.

A gathering of Mr. Perew’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Saturday, August 25, 2012, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.  His graveside service will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, August 26, 2012, at Hooks Cemetery, Kountze.
