Janice “Jan” Dean Bennett, 76, of Silsbee, died Tuesday, August 21, 2012.  She was born on February 20, 1936, in Ennis, to Thelma Geraldine Wood and James Edward Cudd, Jr. 

Survivors include her husband, Robert Herman Bennett; children, David Keith Bennett of Austin, Kathy Ann Robinson and her husband, Price, of Midland, and Roy Dean Bennett of Texas City; grandchildren, Carl Price Robinson, III “Trey” and Brittany Paige Robinson, both of Midland; brother, Kenneth Cudd of Trinity; and sister, Nancy Jane Haden and her husband, John, of Spring.  She is preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Suzanne Stewart.

A gathering of Mrs. Bennett’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, August 23, 2012, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. Her funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 24, 2012, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Votaw Cemetery, Votaw.
