Evan Ross Weed, 86, of Beaumont, died Friday, August 10, 2012, at College Street Health Care Center.  He was born on February 6, 1926, in Brigham City, Utah, to Anna Huesser and Charles Emil Weed.  He was a United States Army Air Corps veteran, having served in World War II.

Survivors include his wife, June Rae Larsen Weed; son, Scott Evan Weed and his wife, Nancy; daughters, Mary Crump; Valerie Kelley and her husband, Patrick; and Teddy Edds and her husband, C.W.; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by his daughters, Susan Taylor and Sandra Hodges; and son, Steven Weed.

His memorial service will be 12:30 p.m., Tuesday, August 14, 2012, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont.  A reception for Mr. Weed’s family and friends will be held at Broussard’s Centre’, 1775 Calder Avenue, Beaumont, following the service until 3:00 p.m.  His committal will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
