Morris Gutmann, 77, of Beaumont, died Wednesday, August 8, 2012, at Dubuis Hospital, Beaumont.

He was born on January 30, 1935, in New Orleans, Louisiana, to Naomi Weatherby and Edgar Morris Gutmann II. Morris was a United States Air Force veteran and retired as owner and operator of The Tinder Box at Parkdale Mall. He received a Master of Science degree in Psychology.

Survivors include his daughter, Stratford Fallon and her husband, Drew, of Charlotte, North Carolina; grandchild, Harrison Fallon; and brother, George Gutmann of Beaumont.

His committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
