Hildegard Stahl, 78, of Nederland, died August 7, 2012, at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont. Born April 23, 1934, in Thiemendorf, Germany, she was the daughter of Ida and Paul Fromm. Mrs. Stahl had been employed with Market Basket in the meat department. She enjoyed playing with her grandchildren and spending special times with her family. Her hobbies included gardening, playing board games, and swimming and she loved to travel. She was a very caring and strong woman.
Mrs. Stahl is survived by her husband, Siegfried Stahl of Nederland; children, Kevin Stahl and his wife, Dawn Robertson, of Beaumont; Kirk Stahl of Beaumont; and Kent Stahl and his wife, Colette, of Nederland; grandchildren, Sophie Stahl, Kensey Stahl, Livia Stahl, and Landon Stahl; brothers, Alfred Fromm and his wife, Maria, of Koblenz, Germany and Mannfred Fromm and his wife, Krystal, of Leipzig, Germany; and sister, Trautel Petersohn and her husband, Mannfred, of Zeulenroda, Germany.
A gathering of Mrs. Stahl’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday evening, August 9, 2012 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 2711 Helena Avenue, Nederland. Private graveside services were held at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, 101 Block Street, Port Neches. A memorial service for Mrs. Stahl will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 11, 2012, at Holy Cross Lutheran Church. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland.
