Peggy Clark Dillahunty Jones, 81, of Beaumont, died at home on Sunday, July 29, 2012.  A lifelong resident of Beaumont, she born on March 16, 1931, to Vallie Marshall Clark and Frank Lee Clark. She graduated from Beaumont High School in 1949 where she was a Royal Purple. Peggy was a nurse for home health agencies and cared very deeply for her patients.

She will be remembered as a Christian woman who loved her faith, family and friends.

Survivors include her children, Betsy Lee and her husband, Jim, of Fulshear; and Frank Dillahunty and his wife, Angela of Kountze; grandchildren, Jennifer Skinner and her husband, Adam of Humble; Talon Singletary of Beaumont; and Alex Lee of Sugarland; brother, Dale Clark, Sr. and his wife, Barbara of Vidor; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many loving friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, H.M. “Bob” Jones; parents; and father of her children, Frank Dillahunty, Sr.

A gathering of Mrs. Jones’ family and friends will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 31, 2012, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 1, 2012, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
