William "Billy" L. Bordages 
March 18, 1919 - July 20, 2012

William L. “Billy” Bordages, 93, of Beaumont, died Friday, July 20, 2012, at Harbor Hospice-Beaumont. A native of Beaumont, he was born to Marie Bonnemaison Bordages and James Dennis Bordages, Sr., on March 18, 1919. Billy was former foreman for J.J. Hebert & Company Cattle, longtime local cattle rancher and a World War II Army Air Corp veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Sammie Hebert Bordages of Beaumont; sons, William “Bill” Bordages and his wife, Mary of Manhattan Beach, California; and David Bordages and his wife, Cathy of Ladera Ranch, California; daughters, Candace Otillar and her husband, Bob of Houston; Suzanne Bloyd of Beaumont; and Eurice “Reecie” LoPiccolo and her husband, Darrell of Houston; brothers, Walter Bordages of Beaumont; and I.R. “Buddy” Bordages of Hamshire; sisters, Sr. Denise Bordages; Sr. Raphael Bordages; and Sr. Marie Bordages, all of Houston; Sr. Emily Bordages of Beaumont; Sr. Frances Marie Bordages of Houston; and Loretta Gary of Beaumont; twenty grandchildren; and twenty-three great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his son, James H. “Jimmy” Bordages.

A family Rosary for Billy will be recited at 4:30 p.m., Tuesday, July 24, 2012, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, with a Christian Vigil to follow at 6:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 25, 2012, at St. Anthony Cathedral Basilica, 700 Jefferson Street, with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
