Richard Frank Pennino, 77, died Wednesday, April 25, 2012, at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth, Beaumont. He was born on April 14, 1935, in New York City, New York, to Humbert Pennino and Jane Venezia.

Richard was a veteran of the United States Navy, a retired policeman for the city of New York; and has been a resident of the Beaumont and Vidor areas since 1985.

He is survived by his daughter, Ann Thrasher; son, Andrew; brother, Humbert and his wife, Barbara of Long Island, New York; sister, Joan of Florida; special friend, Henrietta; and other relatives and friends.

Richard was preceded in death by his wife, Theres Gietzen Odom Pennino.

His committal was at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.

A Memorial Mass for Mr. Pennino will be celebrated at a later date.
