Chris Shook, 49, of Beaumont, died on Tuesday, July 3, 2012, at Harbor Hospice, Beaumont.

He was born to Shirly Mae Roberts Shook and Eddie Harrison Shook, Sr., on May 1, 1963, in Laurel Bay, South Carolina, and had been a resident of the Beaumont area since 2007.

Survivors include his mother, Shirly Porter of Beaumont; sister, Alane Carley and her husband, Dwayne, of Cypress; brothers, Eddie Shook, Jr. and his wife, Sibyl, of Katy; and Paul Shook of Buna.
