Barbara Seymour, 73, of Lumberton, died Tuesday, July 3, 2012, at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas, Beaumont.

She was born on April 28, 1939, in Butler, Pennsylvania, to Margrete McNulty Wertz and Rudolph Wertz. Barbara enjoyed gardening, cooking, listening to country music and caring for her dogs.

Survivors include her sons, Richard Stepp of Cleveland, Ohio, and David Stepp of Silver Springs, Maryland; daughter, Joyce Stepp Day of Allentown, Pennsylvania; brother, Randolph Wertz of Phoenix, Arizona; nine grandchildren; and one nephew.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Marion Seymour.

A memorial service for Mrs. Seymour will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, July 9, 2012, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. Her committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium.
