Wiley P. Mangum, 87, of Kountze, died on Wednesday, June 27, 2012, at Medical Center of Southeast Texas, Wiley was a United States Army veteran and a recipient of the Purple Heart. He retired with Central Freight Lines as a truck driver and was an auxiliary volunteer with the Veterans Administration Medical Clinic in Survivors include his wife, Margaret Mangum; daughters, Yvonne Tarnow and her husband, Kenneth, of Beauxart Gardens; and Amanda Hebert and her husband, John, of Lumberton; stepson, Lynn Edward Lee, Jr. and his wife, Angie, of Kountze; stepdaughter, Pamela Burks and her husband, Jerry, of Magnolia Springs; seventeen grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Marvin Mangum; and daughter, Cornice Irion. A gathering of Mr. Mangum’s family and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m., with his funeral service at 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 29, 2012, at Broussard’s, 530 W. Monroe, Kountze. Interment will follow at
