Patsey Lee Ortega, 51, of Port Arthur, died on Wednesday, June 20, 2012, at Medical Center of Southeast Texas, Port Arthur. Born August 16, 1960, in Alexandria, Virginia, to Sadie Lorraine Robinson Jones and Robert Emmett Jones, she had been a lifelong resident of the area.  Patsey enjoyed fishing. She was a devoted Coast Guard wife for twenty-one years and loved caring for her family.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Ortega; daughters, Jennifer Carabajal and her husband, Albert, of Driscoll, Sharon Gayle of Fort Worth and Natalia Gayle of Port Arthur; grandchildren, Dustin Ince, Kaitlynn Carabajal, Jazmine Carabajal, Jason Gayle, and James Farrell; one great-grandchild; brothers, Robert E. Jones, Jr., George F. Jones and his wife, Tammie; Thomas H. Jones and his wife, Belinda; and John P. Jones; sisters, Mary A. Graham and her husband, Charles; and Jacqueline R. Koahou and her husband, Abel.

Patsey is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Sadie L. Jones; and brother, Arthur L. Jones.

Her committal will be at Broussard’s Crematorium, under the direction of Broussard’s, 505 12th Street, Nederland.
