Sterling Mack Arceneaux, 64, of Beaumont, died on Thursday, June 14, 2012, at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas, Beaumont. He was born on July 19, 1947, in Beaumont, to Dorothy Denney Arceneaux and Robert Arceneaux, Sr. Sterling was a 1965 graduate of South Park High School and United States Navy veteran. He was a retired design draftsman and was involved with the prison ministry and singles class at Calvary Baptist Church. Survivors include his brother, Jay Arceneaux and his wife, Suzan, and their two children, Amanda and Jayson; and special friend, Debbie Burneston of Beaumont. A gathering of Mr. Arceneaux’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Monday, June 18, 2012, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 19, 2012, at Broussard’s. Interment will be held at a later date at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Robert King for his care and support through the Celebrate Recovery Ministry at Calvary Baptist Church.
