George A. Aubey, 63, of Hamshire, died on Thursday, June 7, 2012. He was born on February 14, 1949, in Beaumont, to Germaine Comeaux Aubey and Louis Jay Aubey, and had been a resident of Hamshire most of his life.

Survivors include his wife, Joy Rita Fabre Aubey; son, Buck Aubey of Hamshire; daughters, Tammy Sain and her husband, Mike, of Fannett; Tina Aubey and her partner, James Chaney; Terry Trahan and her husband, Tra; and brother, Vic Aubey and his wife, Shirley, all of Hamshire; sisters, Noreen Jordan of Huntsville; Brenda Webb of Fannett; and Norma Lewis and her husband, Mickey, of Malakoff; grandchildren, Kayla Sain, Shannon Sain, Carly Chaney, Peyton Chaney, Nicole Aubey, Madeline Aubey, Kade Hranicky, Haylee Hranicky, Samantha Trahan, and Isabella Trahan.

A gathering of Mr. Aubey’s family and friends will begin at 5:00 p.m., with a Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m., Monday, June 11, 2012, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 12, 2012, at St. Mary Catholic Church, 9894 Gilbert Road, Fannett. His committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium.
