Jerry A. Jones, 83, of Nederland, died Sunday, June 3, 2012, at Harbor Hospice of Beaumont.  Born July 9, 1928, in Port Arthur, he was the son of Henry and Alma Caraway Richardson.   Jerry was a United States Army veteran and retired as a process operator from Jefferson Chemical Company.  He was an avid Nederland football fan and enjoyed spending time with his family, especially the grandchildren, passing on life lessons.  Jerry was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church and member of Nederland Masonic Lodge #1368 A.F. and A.M.

He is survived by his wife of fifty-eight years, Louise Jones of Nederland; daughters, Debbie Collazo and her husband, Johnny, Diane Smith and her husband, Jared; son, Jerry Jones and his wife, Kim all of Nederland; grandchildren, Kenneth Wright and his wife, Victoria of Houston, Dr. Mallory Suire of Baytown, Carly Suire, Trace and Hallie Baker, Trent, Emily, Kade and Dane Jones, all of Nederland; great-granddaughter, Tabitha Wright of Houston; and sister, Joyce Jordan Gore and her husband, Walter of Silsbee.   Jerry was preceded in death by his parents.
