Joseph “Joe” Breaux, 64, of Mauriceville died Monday, May 21, 2012, at his residence.

Born November 14, 1947, in Silsbee and resident of the area all of his life, Joe was the son of Leila Williams Breaux and Carroll Joseph Breaux.  Joe retired from Houston Pipeline, where he was a measurement technician.

He is survived by his wife, Helen Grissom Breaux; sons, Joey Breaux and his wife, Molly of Lumberton and Steven Breaux and his wife, Khristina of Lake Cormorant, Mississippi; daughters, Julie Ann Breaux and Terrie Meads both of Galveston; seven grandchildren; sisters, Elizabeth Taylor of Beaumont, Theresa Burrow of Elgin, and Phyllis Pucci of Wellesley, Massachusetts.  Joe was preceded in death by his parents.

A gathering of Joe’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 23, 2012, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road in Silsbee.  His funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 24, 2012, at Broussard’s with burial to follow at Magnolia Springs Cemetery, FM 1005, Magnolia Springs, Texas.
