Roy Lynn Folmar, Jr., 52, of Liberty, died Sunday, May 20, 2012, in Edna, Texas. Born October 14, 1959, to Glenn Ellen Whitlock and Roy Lynn Folmar, Sr., he had been a lifelong resident of Beaumont. Roy was employed as a corrections officer with Texas Department of Criminal Justice. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and anything outdoors. 

Roy is survived by his daughter, Jessica Foutz and her husband, James of Bridge City; son, Jeremy Folmar and his significant other, Julie Matherly of Port Neches; grandchildren, Mackenzie Foutz, Kennedy Foutz and Luke Folmar; and other aunts and cousins.

A memorial service for Mr. Folmar will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, May 24, 2012, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. 

Private committal services will be held at a later date in Edna, Texas.
