Karl Ray Lovett 
August 31, 1956 - May 15, 2012

 

Karl Ray Lovett, 55, of Beaumont, died Tuesday, May 15, 2012. He was born August 31, 1956, in Port Arthur, to Betty Lovett and John W. Lovett and had been a longtime resident of the area. Karl was a self employed cosmetologist at Salon West.

 

Survivors include his life partner for twenty-one years, Rick Moore of Beaumont; mother, Betty Griffith; brothers, Johnny Lovett and his wife, Kay of Beaumont and David Lovett and his wife, Linda of Port Neches; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of family members and friends.

 

He is preceded in death by his father, John W. Lovett.

 

A gathering of Mr. Lovett’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Thursday, May 17, 2012, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 18, 2012, at Broussard’s, with a committal to follow at Broussard’s Crematorium.   A memorial service to celebrate Mr. Lovett's  life will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 11, 2012, at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, 4090 Delaware, Beaumont, Texas.
