Lucille Brantley, 87, of Sour Lake, died Thursday, May 10, 2012, at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas, Beaumont.

She was born October 9, 1924, in Foley, Alabama, and worked as a pharmacy clerk.

Survivors include sons, Martin Brantley and his wife, Wanda of Sour Lake, Wayne Brooks and his wife, Debra of Eastmon, Georgia, and Ray Brooks and his wife, Georgia of Florida; grandchildren, Lee Brantley, Tisha Rothenberger and her husband, Tracy, Melissa Brooks, Tony Brooks and his wife, Selena, and Doug Brooks; great-grandchildren, Tyler Brooke Rothenberger, Hunter Rothenberger, Landen, Darren, and Jonathan Brooks, Sarah, Josh, and Brook, and Ginger.

Lucille is preceded in death by her parents; and sons, Paul Brantley and Bruce Brooks.

A graveside service for Ms. Brantley’s will be 2:30 p.m., Saturday, May 12, 2012, at China Cemetery, Benoit Avenue, China, Texas, under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
