Jack E. Huber, 89, of Beaumont, died Thursday, May 10, 2012. He was born on November 16, 1922, to Jewel Sims Huber and John Christian Huber in Ranger, Texas. Jack was a United States Navy and United States Army Air Corps veteran having served both in World War II, and he owned and operated Huber’s Decorating Center. Survivors include his wife of sixty-eight years, Ruby M. Huber; son, Beau Huber and his wife, Suzanne Long Huber of Phoenix, Arizona; grandchildren, Elizabeth Sadler and her husband, Cliff of Bradenton, Florida and Kendall Lorenz of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; two great-grandsons, Will Lorenz and Charles Lorenz, both of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; two nieces, Patricia Huber and Mary Ann Kerth; and two nephews, John Christian Huber and Steven Huber. A gathering of Mr. Huber’s family and friends will be from 2:30 p.m. until 4:30 p.m., Sunday, May 13, 2012, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 a.m., Monday, May 14, 2012, at St. Anne Catholic Church, 2715 Calder Avenue, Beaumont with interment to follow at Magnolia Cemetery, 2291 Pine Street, Beaumont.
