Carrie Foux Miller, 92, of Rose City died Sunday, May 6, 2012, in Vidor.

She is survived by her daughters, Beatrice Smith of Beaumont, Grace McCown and her husband, Dale of Fannett, and Linda Durmon and her husband, David of Rose City; grandchildren, Lee Durmon and his wife, Susie, Lynn Durmon and his wife, Jamie, David Smith and his wife, Tammie, John Smith and his wife, Shelly, Melinda Smith, Donald Wayne McCown and his wife, Tammy, and Jerry Dale McCown, Jr.; and great grandchildren, Celeste Durmon, Kristen Wilson, Shyanne McCown, Michael Dale McCown, Hunter McCown, Dylan McCown, Laren Smith, and Taylor Smith.

Carrie is preceded in death by her husband, Laurence Miller; parents, Oscar and Marida Foux; two brothers; and eight sisters.

A gathering of her family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 8, 2012, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m., at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 9, 2012, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 4955 Pine Street, Beaumont.
