James E. Bean, 86, of Silsbee died Sunday, May 6, 2012, at his residence.

He had lived in the area since 1963.  James served in the United States Army and was a Plant Operator for Petrochemical. 

James is survived by his sons, Jay Bean and his wife, Darlene of Silsbee and Charles Bean and his wife, Dierdra; nine grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Bean.

His funeral will be Tuesday, 2:00 p.m. May 8, 2012, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee with burial to follow at Antioch Cemetery in Buna.  A gathering of family and friends will be Monday, May 7, 2012, 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Broussard’s.
