Maria De Laluz Santana, 54, of Stowell, died at her residence on Wednesday, May 2, 2012.

She is survived by her husband, Antonio Santana; sons, Antonio Santana, Jr. and his wife, Elisa of Winnie and Daniel Santana of Stowell; daughter Hilda Santana and her fiancé, Arnulfo Alvarez of Winnie; brothers, Miguel Morales, Antonio Morales, Leonardo Morales and Felimon Morales all of Mexico; sister, Leonor Morales of Winnie; grandchildren, Kelly Santana, Arely Santana, Stephanie Santana, Abigail Alvarez, and Juan Pablo Santana; and numerous relatives and friends.

Maria was preceded in death by her son, Melvin Santana.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Saturday morning, May 5, 2012, at St. Louis Catholic Church, 315 W. Buccaneer Drive, in Winnie, under the direction of Broussard’s, 134 W. Buccaneer Drive with burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery. A gathering of her family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. Friday evening, May 4, 2012, at Broussard’s.
