David Francis Strah, 75, of Beaumont, died Monday, April 30, 2012, at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth. He was born in Pueblo, Colorado, to Olga Ursick and Frank A. Strah, on July 22, 1936. Upon being honorably discharged from the United States Air Force, he received his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Colorado, in Boulder. David went on to be a plant manager for Goodyear and Metokote, where he later retired. Survivors include his two sons, Rodney Strah and his wife Michelle, of Beaumont and Russell Strah of Akron, Ohio; five daughters, Stefany Strah of Dallas, Kimberly Tindall and her husband Dave, of Phoenix, Arizona, Gina Strah and Michelle Strah, both of Akron, Ohio and Christine Pusateri of Clarksville, Tennessee; grandson, Ryan Strah; and sister, Ruth Ann Richards of Denver, Colorado. He is preceded in death by his parents. A gathering of his family and friends will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 2, 2012, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. His funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, May 3, 2012, at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, 4090 Delaware Street, Beaumont, with interment to follow at Houston National Cemetery.
