Susan Ann “Mama Sue” Tucker, 95, of Port Arthur, died Monday, April 30, 2012, at Cypress Glen Nursing Facility, Port Arthur.  Born June 20, 1916, to Rose Schaé and Michael Zeiner in Erie, Pennsylvania, she was a resident of the Mid-County area since 1948. Susan enjoyed sewing, traveling and making dolls. She was a wonderful, sweet, intelligent person that helped many people. Susan was a member of the Knupple Cemetery Association and attended church as Val Verde Baptist, Groves.  

She is survived by her children, George Wuenschel, Carl Wuenschel and his wife, Rebecca, and Suzanne Emma Welch, all of Port Acres; grandchildren, Shannon Seymour, Keith Wuenschel, Kelly Andrus, Kim Smith Kory Welch, Eric Welch and Louis Morrison; and fifteen great-grandchildren.

Susan is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert E. Tucker; brother; and sister.

A gathering of her family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 2, 2012, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. Her funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 3, 2012, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Knupple Cemetery, Silsbee.
