Linda Bruce, 66, of Beaumont, died Monday, April 23, 2012, at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas, Beaumont.

She was born in Beaumont, December 3, 1945, to Lula Bandeaux Porter and Bill Porter, and had been a lifelong resident of the area.

Survivors include her husband, Lee Bruce of Beaumont; sons, Ronnie Bruce of Lumberton and Cory Bruce of Beaumont; sister, Jody Tindell of Chattanooga, Tennessee; nieces, Teresa Deloach of Georgia and Diane May of Chattanooga, Tennessee; nephews, Jerry Tindell of North Carolina and Bobby Tindell of Tennessee; and numerous cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

A Rosary will be recited at 5:00 p.m., with a gathering of her family and friends to follow, Wednesday, April 25, 2012, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 a.m., Thursday, April 26, 2012, at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, 4445 Avenue A, Beaumont with interment to follow at China Cemetery, under the direction of Broussard’s.
