Walter E. Wagner, 75, of Beaumont, died Monday, April 23, 2012, at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth, Beaumont.

He was born March 20, 1937, in Toledo, Ohio, and had been a resident of the Beaumont area for the past nine years. Walter was a United States Navy veteran and was a retired construction material manager with Fluor Corporation.

Survivors include his son, Walter R. Wagner and his wife Nola of Nederland; grandchildren, Tiffany Wagner, Matthew Wagner and Alyssa Wagner all of Nederland; fiancé, Beatrice Beck of Beaumont; and nephews, Dave Duling of Maumee, Ohio and Mike Duling of Atlanta, Georgia.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and twin sister, Peggy Duling.

His memorial service will be 6:00 p.m. Thursday, April 26, 2012, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.

Cremations arrangements were handled by Broussard’s.
