Della Mae Kelly, 87, of Nederland, died Sunday, April 22, 2012, at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas, Beaumont. Born March 27, 1925 in Port Arthur, to Theresa Libersat Broyles and Clarence Broyles, she was a lifetime resident of the Mid-County area. Della absolutely loved flower gardening, flower arranging and playing bridge with friends. She was a member of the Extension Education Association of Southeast Texas and the Garden Club of Nederland. Della was also an active and longtime member of First Baptist Church, Nederland and the First Baptist Church Silvertone choir. She is survived by her husband, Roy Kelly of Nederland; daughters, Donna Kelly Burson and her husband, Rex of Granbury, and Patricia Kelly Raley and her husband, Steve of Waco; grandchildren, Allison Crawford and her husband, Scott, Ashley Nicolle and her husband, Bryan, Erin Phillips and her husband, Chris, Matthew Raley and his wife, Aimee; great-grandchildren, Cambria, Gracelyn, Rhyder, Cameron and Rylee; brother, Vernon Broyles; sister-in-law, Merle Broyles; and very special nieces and nephews. Della is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Elmer Broyles; and sister-in-law, Ruby Broyles. A gathering of her family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 25, 2012, at Broussard’s, 505 12th Street, Nederland. Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, April 26, 2012, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, Port Neches.
