Pauline Martha Wiggins Vaughn, 91, of Beaumont, died Saturday, April 21, 2012, at Jefferson Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Beaumont.  A native of Jaquian, Texas, she was born May 14, 1921, to Eddie Thomas Smith Wiggins and Troy Edward Wiggins and was a teacher of foster grandparenting.  Having lived most of her life in Beaumont, Pauline loved bible reading, bingo, visiting with friends and family, going to church, volunteering, crafts, and listening to music.

Survivors include her children, Shirley Benscoter and her husband, Austin, Jo Altman, and Bobbie Mazzola; grandchildren, Sloane Mills and her husband, Brian, Stephen Benscoter, Donald Murphy and his wife, Mary, Robby Murphy and his wife, Christi, Paul Murphy and his wife, Jenny, Shawn Murphy, Deanna Altman, Catherine Fullen and her husband, Tommie, Susan Wheeler and her husband, Gary, Johnny Mazzola and his wife, Kim, and Angel Mazzola;  great-grandchildren, Samantha Mills, Wes Murphy, Jesi Murphy, Josh Murphy and his wife, Meagan, Meagan Murphy, Ryan Murphy, Angie Murphy, Tommy Fullen, Christina McGraw and her husband, Justin, Ashley Huff and her husband, Bradley, Haleigh Wheeler, Jake Wheeler, Morgan Wheeler, and Mason Wheeler; and great-great-grandchildren, Emily Murphy, Clara, and Bella McGraw.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Woodrow Vaughn; and grandchildren, Austin Benscoter III and Chris Mazzola.

Her memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 24, 2012, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.  Cremation arrangements are being handled under the direction of Broussard’s Crematorium.
