Rocky Alan Thompson, 38, of Silsbee died Sunday, March 25, 2012.

He was a lifelong resident of Silsbee and worked at Mead Westvaco.  Rocky proudly served his country in the United States Navy.

Rocky is survived by his wife, Tiffany Thompson; children, Katelyn Halvorson, Tyler Thompson, Alex Thompson, and Christian Thompson all of Silsbee; mother, Jean Thompson of Silsbee; brothers, Brad Thompson and his wife, Dora of Vero Beach, Florida, and Randy Thompson and his wife, Carrie of Silsbee; aunts and uncles; nieces, Jenna Thompson and Alayna Thompson; nephews, Zack Thompson, Nick Thompson, Marty Thompson, and Logan Thompson; grandmother, Addie Buxton; and numerous other family and friends.

Rocky is preceded in death by is father, Charles W. Thompson; and grandparents, Burton Buxton, D.C. Thompson, and Lona Thompson.

His funeral service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 28, 2012, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee, with burial to follow at R. S. Farmer Cemetery.  A gathering of family and friends will be Tuesday, March 27, 2012, 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Broussard’s.
