Jeremiah J. Johnson, 28, of Kountze died January 16, 2012, in Galveston. Born January 10, 1984, in Denver, Colorado to Debra K. (McCleary) and Raymond Eugene Johnson, he had lived in the Kountze area most of his life and was a driver with CRG in Nederland.

Survivors include his mother, Debbie Ryan and her husband, Hiawatha of Kountze; father, Raymond Johnson and his wife Colleen of Missouri; brother, William Ray Johnson and his wife, Breanna of Kountze; sisters, Christina Marie Chanek, Roxanna Naomi Chanek, and Cora Lee Ryan all of Kountze; grandparents, Roxie Wacasey of Kountze and John Martin McCleary and his wife, Sally of Pueblo, Colorado; and numerous other aunts, uncles, friends, and relatives.

His funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 20, 2012, at Faith Tabernacle, 3345 S. Hwy. 69, Kountze with interment to follow at Old Hardin Cemetery in Kountze under the direction of Broussard’s in Kountze.  A gathering of his family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., Thursday, January 19, 2012, at the church.
