Shirley Mae Bryant, 76, of Sour Lake died Saturday, November 19, 2011, at Kountze Nursing Center.  She was born September 26, 1935 in Kankakee, Illinois, to Alice Stombaugh and Warren Edgar Martin. A resident of Sour Lake for six years, she was a homemaker.

Survivors include her children, Cynthia Blackwell of Phoenix, Arizona, Debbie Schuster of Sour Lake, Glen Dean Army of Benson, Arizona, Kelly Jones of Tuscon, Arizona, and Mary Kettery of Reno, Nevada; sisters, Margie Beebe of Kentland, Indiana and Millie Wolfe of Indiana; brother, Dallas Martin; fourteen grandchildren; and nineteen, great grandchildren.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Broussard’s Crematorium.
