Phyllis Rose Lynd, 57, of Nederland, died Thursday, November 10, 2011.  Born June 7, 1954, to Annie Olier and Claude Bourque, she was a lifelong resident of Nederland.

Phyllis is survived by her husband, Thomas “Buddy” Lynd of Nederland; beloved dog, Sadie Lynd; sister, Claude Ann Jannise and her husband, Lloyd; cousins, Diane and Les Hejduk, Jim and Amelia Premeaux, Wayne Premeaux, Ron Bourque; and several other cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Annie Bourque; and brother, Davis Bourque.

Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 12, 2011, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland, with interment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Groves.  A gathering of her family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, November 11, 2011, at Broussard’s, with a Rosary recited at 6:00 p.m.
