Larry "Bullit" Copeland 
May 1, 1946 - September 21, 2011

Larry “Bullit” Copeland, 65, of China, died Wednesday, September 21, 2011, at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.

 

He was born May 1, 1946, in Beaumont, to Juanita Warren Copeland and James Marshall Copeland; and had been a resident of China since 1988.  Mr. Copeland owned and operated Bullit’s Water Wagon.

 

Survivors include his wife, Julie Ann Copeland of China; daughter, Melody Bradley and her husband, Jimmy of China; grandchildren, Salena Taylor, Hannah Taylor and Braden Taylor all of China; brothers, Donald Copeland and his wife, Ettie of Henderson, Ronald Copeland and his wife, Margaret of LaPorte, Bobby Copeland and his wife, Betty Ann of Baytown, and Hart Copeland and his wife, Betty Lou of Anahuac; mother-in-law, Ann Granger of China; sister-in-law, Peggy Granger of China; sisters and brothers-in-law, Benita and Joe Sebesta of Richmond and Joyce and Nick Ewing of Kingwood.

 

He is preceded in death by his parents; and his father-in-law.

 

His funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 24, 2011, Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont with interment to follow at Rosedale Cemetery, Sour Lake.  A gathering of his family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friday, September 23, 2011, at Broussard’s.
