Annie Mae McDonald, 74, of Mauriceville died Tuesday, September 20, 2011, at her residence.

Annie was a life long resident of the area and she had worked at Weingartens as a meat wrapper.

She is survived by her children, Debbie Heering and her husband, Chip of Pearland, Wayne Durden and his wife, Sharon of Mauriceville, Pam Johnnie and her husband, Charlie of Orangefield, and Mike Denmon and his wife, Lee of Mauriceville; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and sister, Louise Buzzingham of Sour Lake.

Annie is preceded in death by her husband, Bennie McDonald; parents, John W. and Lillie Mae Cotton; sisters, Lazeail Buchok and Lona Mae Thompson; and brother, Clemit Cotton.

Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 23, 2011, under the direction of Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee, with burial to follow at R. S. Farmer Cemetery in Silsbee.  A gathering of family and friends will be Thursday, September 22, 2011, 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Broussard’s.
